It’s easy to forget to give God thanks when you’re caught up in your daily grind. So, I decided to provide a list of things to thank God for on the go.

I remember when my life was hectic – I was sick and depressed. Nothing was going right. But even in that situation, God is still good.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) – “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Many people wait until Thanksgiving or New Year’s to reflect on all the things that they are grateful for. But God wants us to be thankful always. Never be too busy or allow the challenges of life to stop you from thanking God.

You may say, what is there to give God thanks for when everything is going wrong? It could be the simple things such as breathing, waking up, or a roof over your head. The mere fact that you can have hope in God for a better tomorrow is all you need to keep going.

Someone challenged me to meditate on the goodness of God daily. Just that simple action makes every mountain small in my life. I was more at peace and could see things much clearer. I saw God’s love in everything.

When showing God gratitude, start by looking into your life and the basics then go from there.

Psalm 107:1 (NIV) says, “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
